Just sitting here thinking of the hundreds of Valentines I've piled up in my lucky lifetime. Some spoken, some written, others just a thought that counted. There have been the chocolate-dipped, long-stemmed, bubbly, lacy Valentines and even one that came in a tiny velvet box. Some of the dearest of the dear were handmade of construction paper, doilies and pipe cleaners. Others were a hug, a hand to hold or just a song on the radio. I tell the kids: love is nearly impossible to define, but you sure do know it when you feel it. Wishing you love today in all its many shapes and forms.
