Make holy that bit of life entrusted to you. I literally woke up today thinking about this beautiful phrase printed on a Thanksgiving card from years ago. It sounds like something St. Augustine might have said, but there wasn't any attribution. Could have been some soulful 21st century copywriter at the card company. Regardless, what an amazing call to action. What would that look like? Be like? And can I have all the time back that I haven't made holy? The truth is that we've all been entrusted with a bit of life - just a tiny microcosm in the great continuum. Making it holy is the one purpose worth pursuing, I think. These stamps on my December envelopes seem like a step in that direction. God will help me the rest of the way.
